As a result of the successful AWS implementation, our client was able to expand its service operation, gain efficiency, and provide work-life balance to its workforce, which resulted in increased revenue opportunities, labor cost controls, and better employee engagement.
The client needed to expand patient service capacity at a few of their clinics. Expanding hours of operations was going to result in less than desirables shift start and end times. The client needed a solution that would support expanded capacity AND took care of the work-life balance needs of their employees. Implementing an alternative workweek schedule (AWS) was a great solution to meeting the needs of both the patient and staff.
Employer’s Guardian worked with our client to design the AWS program, build election materials, register with the Department of Industrial Relations, produce training materials for employees and managers, support the election process, and payroll system configuration.
